Maker Faire in Kharkov

Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing. From the engineers to the artists to the craftsmen, to the show hobbies, experiments, projects.
They call it the Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth - a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness.

Kharkiv Mini Maker Faire is part of the international Maker Faire movement.
The festival of technologies, inventions and creativity, the celebration of the movement of "makers", which has been taking place around the world for more than 10 years, and in the United States has become a national trend.
It is a mix of science, art, IT, crafts, a meeting of technical enthusiasts of all ages, hobbyists, engineers, academic clubs, authors, artists, students. Here, anyone can learn to do something new: from pottery and glassware to rocket models, simple chips and robots. You can also find like-minded people, colleagues and partners here.

The fair in Kharkov was first held on November 5, 2016, and collected about 60 makers.

The makers are people who create products with their own hands and head. The makers come to Maker Faire to share what they do themselves, inspired by what others do. It is through such communication that new ideas are born, the philosophy of creation and invention is popularized.
