Biblioteka Bar and Restaurant in Kharkov

Another one original and conceptual place with a wide range of drinks.

What is the first opinion about the cafe? The interior and the menu. "Library - bar restaurant" immediately raised the bar quite high level of prices. "Well, that means the requirements will not be lower", I immediately sum up and tried local gastronomic delights.
I started with the classic "Greek salad". The feed is very original. But the taste and size of the salad upset.
The "Pepperoni" dish was normal: fried pieces of veal with bell pepper and tomato sauce, with French mustard and parmesan cheese. Meat, in general, I liked meat in general. It was not so fat and not so dry. But food did not cause a particularly pleasant surprise.

In this bar the map of alcohol and non-alcohol is twice as large as the map with food. The whole spectrum of drinks is presented - from teas and to sherry. For some positions, in particular, coffee drinks and author's cocktails very interesting literary names have been invented. For example, here you can taste a cup of Baskervilles coffee or Tom Sawyer's chocolate. And there is still a whole collection of interesting cocktails. How not to intrigue the name "Anna Karenina's Caprice", "Dorian Gray", and especially I liked - "Elixir Van Gogh".
Tea with ginseng and coffee and cream were good.
Serving our table came out "without a soul." The waiter without emotions accepted the order, so he submitted it. The only thing he was worried about was the fate of the menu, trying to keep him away all the time, so that it does not get dirty.
The justification of the name "Biblioteka-Library" in the interior is shown only in two metal shelves with books. There are books also where spices and napkins are located. Read here categorically can not because of poor lighting.
The interior is interesting, but no more. One of the walls is made from the facades of boxes of the alphabetical index of literature, which are located in classical libraries. I really liked the sofas, which are located in niches at the tables.
But for me this institution was not very cozy.

Prices are very high justified unless the location is in the city center.

This institution has a good idea, which the creators could not disclose.
Sometimes Kharkov and foreign cover band`s are performing here music in the style of funk, soul, pop funk and parties with popular Dj`s.
