"Mechanica" - a new creative space in Kharkov, located in the shops of the former locomotive plant of the late XIX century.

In Ukraine at last,a wave of equipping old plants and abandoned spaces has began.
About this place I heard a few months ago. But I came for the first time only to the festival "Impulse". In this part of the city I would not even have a suspicion that there is such a driving place.
The giant space of the former Malyshev plant was re-built under a creative place. There are a park area and a zone with a roof and rooms. Also there are food courts with a variety of food and drink. Burgers, shish kebabs, Mexican cuisine, beer, cider, cocktails, coffee, soft drinks.
At the festival "Impulse" there were two scenes - Park (open-air) and Dvizh (roofed).
Here you can see all the social layers of the city. Especially often here youth hang out. But at other parties, judging by the photos, there were hot glamorous girls and guys. On day activities there are playgrounds with animators.
The Park stage had a good sound and plenty of space. On the Dvizh stage sound was narrower, but you can hide from the rain.
What is important for such a crowded place is good toilets.

In fact, Mechanics is a place for the embodiment of creativity and unusual ideas, uniting enterprising people. A factory entourage, industrial-loft interior style, mysterious mechanical sculptures and technological elements will contribute to the creative mood and the generation of new ideas.

The creators assure (and I have no doubt) that there will be many interesting events here.
