Antischool for Orphans in Kharkov

The Center of Art and Science – the space, which motivates children to study.

The traditional Ukrainian school kills passion to education. Children hate learning because they hate traditional schools.
They are a team of young teachers, who have original ideas how to create new education in Ukraine. THe organization 'Trohy Vogny' is creating The Center of Art and Science – the space, which motivates children to study.
In a small office in Kharkiv (Ukraine) they gather 15-20 children from an orphanage and low-income families, and study together. So they learn History, English, Geography. Also an important part of the Center is Art. The music class (children play the guitar, piano, flute, they sing) helps students discover the world of Culture. And, of course, making concerts is a great new experience for them.

Meanwhile they want to create The Center of Art and Science for orphans and children from low-cost families for 150-200 students.
For the center they need:
- a new bigger placement with several classrooms;
- equipment: computers, projector etc.
- musical instruments;
- furniture;
- salary for teachers. Now all teachers are volunteers. But they need full-time work in The Center to create new courses.
